Mentors, role models, orients, educates, develops, coaches and measures performance of other advanced practice nurses and nurses at previous levels. Works principally in direct care role, but assumes indirect clinical responsibility for quality patient care. Responsible for environment conducive to mentoring staff and teaching students. Supports leadership role in relation to teaching/education and direct patient care. Graduation from accredited School of Nursing and licensure as a RN in NYS. Graduate from a Masters Program in Nursing. 2 years experience in Master level practice.
