We’re looking for several RNs with recent clinical experience to work on our Nurseline in Plano, Texas. As a Healthcare Decision Support Coach, you would help our members by answering questions regarding their health. We have various shifts available, including days, weekends and nights (pay differentials given for night and weekend shifts, and each nurse must work every other weekend). Key responsibilities of the Healthcare Decision Support Coach include:
Performing telephonic clinical assessments
Educating members on health-related questions
Providing utilization management
Triaging calls to determine need for clinical advice
Dispatching emergency services when necessary
Providing member service information
Qualifications
Minimum requirements include:
A current, unrestricted RN license in your state of residence
Recent clinical experience
Typing skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Candidates who also have one or more of the following will be preferred:
Telephonic triage experience
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills
Medicaid knowledge
A background in managed care
Experience working in a call center environment
A BSN degree
